Here's how we shape your brows for a high-impact look
2 minutes
We look at your brows with you in the mirror and agree the shape before anything is removed. If you have a photo, bring it.
Prep
Skin is cleansed and a barrier oil goes on. The eye area is thin, so this step is not optional.
The wax
Hard wax in small sections, above and below. Under a minute per brow for most people.
Tidy and check
Strays tweezed, both brows checked against each other in the mirror, soothing balm applied.
If you added tint or lamination
Those follow the wax, which is why those appointments run 35 to 60 minutes.
Before and after
Do
Come with brows grown out at least 2 weeks. There has to be something to shape.
Tell us about any retinoid, tretinoin or Accutane before we start.
Book tint or lamination a few days before an event, not the morning of.
Skip
No sauna, sun bed or hot yoga for 24 hours. The follicles are open.
No exfoliating acids on the brow area for 48 hours either side.
Do not pluck between appointments. It is the fastest way to lose the shape.

Questions we get
How long does a brow wax last?
Three to four weeks for most people. Regrowth comes back finer each time if you stay on a cycle and stop plucking in between.
Does brow waxing hurt?
Less than people expect. It is 2 to 3 seconds per brow, and hard wax grips the hair rather than the skin.
Waxing or tweezing, which is better?
Waxing, for shape. It takes the whole line in one pass, which is how you get an even arch. Tweezing is the better tool for sparse brows, regrowth phases, and anyone on a retinoid.
How long does brow lamination last?
Six to eight weeks. It is not permanent, and we would not recommend repeating it more often than that.
Can I get a brow wax if I use retinol?
Not on the brow area. Topical retinoids thin the skin and waxing can lift it. We will tweeze instead.
Can you fix over-plucked brows?
Often, but it starts with growing them out. We map a shape with you and tidy around it while it fills in, usually tweezing for the first few visits.
Do you do men's brows?
Yes, $30 for 15 minutes. It is listed on the men's waxing menu.
